DCU Ryan Academy officially launched the Entrepreneur Skillnet programme on Tuesday, June 15th at their uniquely designed building in Citywest Business Campus.
The Skillnet is suitable for entrepreneurs and small and medium sized companies who would like to avail of low cost training and networking opportunities for themselves and their managers and staff. As an Entrepreneur Network, it is particularly suitable for owner managers and small companies.
Speaking at the launch were Enda O'Coineen (Serial Entrepreneur and Author); Mary Doherty (Managing and Creative Director of Red Dog Design); Geraldine Lavin (Director of 3rd i); and Frank O'Toole (Managing Director of Premier Training). The speakers were involved in a panel discussion on what it means to be an entrepreneur and how training helps an entrepreneur develop their business. This was followed by a lively question and answer session with the audience.
The Ryan Academy are the Network Managers of the Entrepreneur Skillnet, which is funded through the National Training Fund and enables grant-aided training. The Entrepreneur Skillnet will deliver training, upskilling and professional development programmes for its members that are enterprise-led and designed to specific industry needs.
